The agitator is the tall, finned centre post that moves your clothes through the water. Over time the fins wear down or snap off — often from overloading or incorrect water levels — and the machine stops washing properly, leaving clothes tangled, dirty or barely moving. This 425025P agitator is a direct-fit replacement that restores proper wash action.

The original agitator of my washing machine was made of flimsy plastic, and therefore, the side paddles initially split and then over time, broke off completely (this did take some time to occur, but it was a very expensive machine to purchase initially – so I expected better).
The replacement is exactly the same dimensions as the original agitator, but is obviously made of more sturdy plastic. So I am hoping for a longer life out of the replacement part. Only time will tell though. But this is excellent value for money, and looks to be of high quality manufacturing. Plus, final ‘pro’ very simple to install.
